Eldred Gregory Peck was born in April 5 and was one of Hollywood’s greats from the 1940s to the 1960s. His most famous role was that of Atticus Finch in the 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird, for which he won an Academy Award. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor five times, four of which came in his first five years of film acting: for The Keys of the Kingdom, The Yearling, Gentleman’s Agreement, and Twelve O’Clock High.
Robert de Niro
Robert de Niro was born in born August 17, 1943 and is an American actor, director and producer. He rose to fame with movies such as The Godfather Part II, a role that won him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and received Academy Award nominations for best actor in Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, and Cape Fear. He won the Best Actor award for Raging Bull. De Niro currently heads his own production company, Tribeca Film Center and made his directorial debut in 1993 with A Bronx Tale.
